Luvvies, Laughter and the Lido – Entertainment in Crouch End

AlexandraPark194743186

Crouch End has always been a place of entertainment. There were the races at Alexandra Palace, a cinema and recording studios as well as  professional theatre school, a nationally known photographer and more.

Of course Crouch End is high on the current London league of luvvies and we will talk about that too, as well as the iconic lido, a survivor from the 1930s. And the clocktower records the success of the man who saved the green spaces around us.

Find out more on our enjoyable walk.

We meet at 1.30 outside Hornsey Town Hall at the heart of Crouch End and finish at the Clock Tower about 90 minutes later.
