Archway – A Walk on the Dark Side

Are you ready for our walk on the dark side?

Archway is often seen as a place to drive through as quickly as possible. In fact it has a rich, if somewhat dark history.

The Smallpox Hospital, the leper colony, the workhouse, suicides and murders, this unloved corner of London has seen it all. Lighter stories too, Dick Whittington turns again, cable cars and the first conservation area with its beautiful houses.

We meet outside Archway tube at the Junction Road entrance at 2.30 pm.

If you want to come along, let us know at or on 07986 504894.
